The Heath’s confidence only grew from there, with a second goal before the half coming from a well worked goal after 6-7 passes that covered the field and left the RDM defense scattered and Ki alone in front of goal to score. As he broke away on goal from a well placed through ball his pace and skill protecting the ball forced the defender to foul him in the box. To start things off it was a player whose name has graced the scoring sheet many times this season, Jon Ebrahimi. From the outset the game was played at a high tempo, and thankfully there were several players returning from the injury list to help fuel the team to keep up the pace throughout. After a disappointing loss against RTC Fridays it was important for the Black Heath to come out strong and assert themselves against RDM this past Thursday.
